Ride Planet Earth

Richard’s Page

So here I am the last leg of my 16 month travels that ended up shaping as a magical journey heading overland from my homeland of England as a creative soul with a lack if inspiration, to East Asia and mooching all the way back again.

I stumbled upon Kim, his project and determination to make something of his life in Kazakhstan. Sounds much more exotic now in story form than at the time, spending our days waiting for a boat to cross the Caspian Sea.

Now a few months on from that, I am a singing sidekick helping where I can. Listening to his many ideas and ramblings in strange voices that only a long time cycling alone or amateur dramatics can bring to a person. I’ve never established which. Sharing the nature, the food, the experience and being in front of all the media Ride Planet Earth has court the attention of. I have taken the role of British coordinator for the events happening all over the world on the 6th of December. So please contact me if you are interested in getting involved in this great action (richardkimberley8″@”hotmail.com).

My new companion, a ‘City Adventure’ Giant Bike. Named ‘Sakelie Saken’ (To Home’ In Georgian) My rucksack strapped to the back. My faithful Camera and Diaries in thew front basket. Documenting my Travel back home… and now the project to the climactic Copenhagen in December. A few pics above from when I joined the Convoy.

I am now here to the end. All the way to Copenhagen. I’ve gathered some of Kim’s snowball effect of inspiration, lets see if I can help pass the snow around. For now we cycle on ‘Chasing the sun’ with many new ideas sprouting out my hairy head for the future.
