M2S Bikes launches an all-terrain cargo electric bike

M2S Bikes, based in North Carolina, offers high quality bikes. Mountains to Sea, the real meaning of the M2S moniker, is exactly what the company is looking to offer when it comes to the capability of its two-wheelers. Of course, don’t expect these bikes to be able to ride on water.

With some pretty stellar specs, the new all-terrain cargo e-bike that’s just been introduced on Indiegogo hopes to live up to M2S’ ethos. This two-wheeler is made to transport and cross the most difficult terrains, as can be seen at first glance. It is equipped with an 8-speed Shimano Acera derailleur, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and a 6061 aluminum frame.

You might guess that the cargo electric bike is rather heavy, tipping the scales at almost 30 kilograms, since the manufacturer has focused on making it as robust and reliable as possible. Its significant weight is however compensated by its versatility, accentuated by its large front and rear luggage racks. Although they add a significant amount of weight to the whole thing, they allow you to carry luggage, gear, and even extra passengers in the form of small children or well-behaved pets.

Thanks to its extra-wide 20 x 4 inch Kenda tires, which increase stability and traction, the M2S cargo electric bike can handle any terrain, from the beach to the mountains. That’s why it’s called All-Terrain. The electric bike’s powerful 750W Bafang geared hub motor, which allows it to easily climb steep hills and reach speeds of over 25 miles per hour, certainly helps to ensure that the bike can cover the ground in confidently and efficiently.

M2S’ utility e-bike comes with three different battery options, ranging from the smallest 16Ah pack to larger ones up to 25Ah. The larger battery is said to provide up to three hours of driving time and up to 75 miles of range on a single charge, while the base battery has a range of up to 30 miles per charge.

In order to increase production, M2S Bikes is currently working on finishing the first 300 of its off-road cargo electric bikes. The off-road cargo bike is priced to launch at $1,800 via Indiegogo, and it’s expected to start shipping by August 2022.
