Moulton Bicycles appoints Chief Operating Officer

Moulton Bicycles is pleased to announce the appointment of Mat Hubbard as Chief Operating Officer.

Mat studied Electronic Engineering at Churchill College, University of Cambridge before undertaking postgraduate studies in Design, Manufacturing and Management at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge. Mat was employed at automotive engineering company AB Dynamics from 1999, taking on various research, development and operational roles, and ended his employment in 2020 as chief operating officer of the listed holding company. FTSE AIM AB Dynamics PLC. Over the past two years, Mat has been engaged with a small number of UK-based tech start-ups in technical and business advisory roles.

Mat Hubbard comments “I am delighted to be involved with Moulton Bicycles. The products are well designed, manufactured to high standards in the UK and fun to drive. Earlier in my career, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Alex Moulton and seeing firsthand his desire to innovate in mobility.

I look forward to working with the current team at Moulton. The recently announced investment in The Bicycle Works facilities will allow us to further develop the team, increase production of existing products, and develop and manufacture new products. The renewed global interest in cycling and micro-mobility provides an opportunity to introduce Moulton products to a new generation of customers while ensuring that our existing customers continue to be fully supported.
