RAIPUR: In order to promote adventure sports and tourism in the state, the Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association is organizing a National Supercross Bike Racing Tournament full of speed and adventure on March 6 at Budhapara Outdoor Stadium.
Giving information regarding the event, Chhattisgarh Motor Sports Association Secretary Mr. Umesh Bansi said that there will be a practice session on March 5 at 1:30 p.m. The tournament will be inaugurated on March 6 at 4 p.m. Runners from all over the country will come to Raipur to participate in this adventure Maha Kumbh. The race track for the event is being prepared by an expert team from Pune.
The supercross bike racing event will be followed by a freestyle motorsport event by international riders in which riders will be seen throwing their bikes over multiple feet and performing stunts. The cyclists will have spectators clenching their fingers in their teeth as they bounce at high speeds on the high ramp made of mud. Barricades are set up around the track for security reasons.
11-year-old biker Alina Mansoor Shaikh, who has so far competed in numerous championships, 12-year-old cyclist Anastaya and 9-year-old Yash Shinde, one of the country’s youngest motocross riders, will be among many other young cyclists. participate in this cycling race which will take place on March 6th.
The association’s media officer, Atul Srivastava, said there would be 10 rounds under overseas open competition, five in class two under Novice, six under Indian in class three and five under Chhattisgarh residents in class four in which only residents will be able to participate. Each class will have at least half a dozen cyclists. If there are 10 cyclists in a class, five will be awarded and if the cyclists are less than 10, the highest performing cyclist will be declared the winner. At the same time, photographers will also be rewarded for the best photography.
According to the technical rules of the competition, three groups A, B and C have been formed for all the players taking part. Participants will also need to bring a medical certificate from a licensed physician.
Registration to compete in the Supercross bike racing event has already begun. After registration, a trial and practice session will take place on March 5th.
On March 5, spectators will be able to enjoy this event without any passes. On March 6, only invited people will be allowed to enter the hall.
After the program, the distribution of prizes will take place at 9:30 p.m.
